The Ghost and the House of Truth

SYNOPSIS

Bola Ogun is a dedicated counsellor living in Lagos who specialises in restorative justice, facilitating tense reconciliation sessions between convicts and the victims of their crimes. Her steadfast belief in forgiveness and the power of truth is pushed to a breaking point when her own eight-year-old daughter, Nike, goes missing. Frustrated by the slow pace of the police investigation and the systemic failures of the local precinct, Bola takes it upon herself to navigate the treacherous corners of the city to find her child. The film is a haunting exploration of a mother’s resolve, the gruelling search for closure, and the complex reality of justice in a society where the truth is often a ghost.
