SYNOPSIS

Efemini "Efe" Edewor is a brilliant but down-on-his-luck tech graduate in Lagos, struggling to provide for his family while working a dead-end job as a waiter. After a series of personal tragedies and systemic failures, a chance meeting with an old friend and cybercrime kingpin, Oboz, changes everything. Enticed by the promise of wealth, Efe uses his coding skills and AI knowledge to build a fraud empire. To Kill a Monkey is a gritty, 8-episode crime thriller that explores the moral decay of an ordinary man, the dark underbelly of cybercrime, and the high price of surviving in a system built on failure.
